At VITAE PHARMA we carry out research and technological development activities of interest to hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry, which will later serve as a technological platform for the creation of new business initiatives in the Biomedicine sector.

We have a Translational Medicine research center in which clinical and analytical research are articulated and whose objective is to transfer our advances in knowledge about the new molecular mechanisms involved in  processes to clinical medicine physiological and pathophysiological.

In our laboratories we enrich clinical research with experimental models of disease, which reproduce pathogenic mechanisms and molecular pathophysiological parameters, and which are used to evaluate new therapeutic lines for pharmaceutical innovation and for the discovery of new molecular biomarkers.

In the area of genomics we carry out the extraction, purification and direct sequencing of the DNA of the complete genome, genotyping and gene expression.

Together with the study of Pharmacogenomics, we develop the bases of personalized medicine, based on the genetic characteristics of each individual through the study of molecular and cellular alterations, in the development of diseases and their treatment.
